The Wyrd Hereafter is a strange little corner of the afterlife for people who came back different….

It is the home of Ghostship Groggy, the 400 Frequencies, Fugitive Spirit Animals, strange technologies, pirate transmissions, weird visionary art, music, animation, fashion, and assorted artifacts recovered from places that probably shouldn’t even exist….

At the center of it all is an idea:

SOME EPIPHANIES CHANGE YOU SO MUCH THAT….

Once you’ve genuinely seen something differently, you can’t entirely return to the person you were before seeing it.

You become a little stranger to the ordinary world.

A little more wyrd.

The Wyrd Hereafter imagines that transformation as an actual place 🛸~ a sprawling alternative hereafter where souls encounter bizarre worlds, traps, spirits, gods, machines, pirates, monsters, and each other while trying to get the best of themselves.

Ghostship Groggy… is…

The flagship story wandering through this universe is Ghostship Groggy—a sci-fi/fantasy screen-novel adventure following Captain Loki Groggy and an increasingly questionable collection of supernatural entities, artificial intelligences, pirates, freight haulers, gods, ghosts, and cosmic bureaucrats.

But the story is only one doorway.

This site stores the travel-guide information & Quantum Comic Maps for exploring the Wyrd Hereafter.

Explore the stories. Draw a Fugitive Spirit Animal. Dig through the Grimoire. Follow the Captain’s Map. Find strange music, fashion, and art. Wander down whatever rabbit hole catches your attention.

There isn’t necessarily a correct way through.

Welcome to The Wyrd Hereafter.

Get weird here. Stay wyrd hereafter.
